सकियो सकिबको प्रतिबन्ध

बंगलादेशका पूर्वकप्तान तथा अलराउन्डर सकिब अल हसनको प्रतिबन्ध सकिएको छ । खेल मिलेमताका बारेमा आफूलाई आएको प्रस्तावका बारेमा जानकारी नदिएको भन्दै अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय क्रिकेट परिषद् (आईसीसी)ले सकिबमाथि २ वर्षको प्रतिबन्ध लगाएको थियो । एकदिवसीय विश्वकपलगत्तै आईसिसीले लगाएको प्रतिबन्ध आजबाट सकिएको हो ।
आईसीसीले सकिबलाई भ्रष्ट्राचार सम्बन्धि नियम उलंघन गरेको आरोपमा प्रतिबन्ध लगाएको थियो । उनले विभिन्न खेलमा खेल सट्टेबाजीका लागि आएको प्रस्तावको रिपोर्ट आईसीसीलाई नदिएको आरोप आईसिसीको छ ।
प्रतिबन्ध फुकुवा भएसँगै बंगलादेशका सबैभन्दा सफल अलराउण्डर शकिब मैदान फर्कन पाउने बंगलादेश क्रिकेट बोर्डले उल्लेख गरेको छ । आईसीसीको एन्टी करप्सन युनिटको अनुसन्धानमा दोषी देखिएका उनी हाल अमेरिकामा बसोबास गर्दैछन् । प्रतिबन्ध फुकुवापछि भने उनी बंगलादेश फर्कने छन् ।
सकिबलाई सन् २०१८ मा बंगलादेश, श्रीलंका र जिम्बावेबीचको त्रिकोणात्मक सिरिज र इन्डियन प्रिमियर लिग (आईपिएल)का विभिन्न खेलमा मिलेमतोको प्रस्ताव तथा सूचना भएको र सोबारे उलने आईसिसीलाई जनकारी दिएका थिएनन् ।
बंगलादेशका सबैभन्दा सफल क्रिकेटर सकिबले बंगलादेशका २०६ एकदिवसीय, ६७ टि२० र ५६ टेस्ट म्याच खेलेका छन् ।
