क्लब फुटबलको सबैभन्दा ठूलो प्रतियोगिता च्याम्पियन्स लिग आजबाट सुरु हुँदै छ । प्रतियोगितामा आज ८ खेल हुने छन्, जसमा राति १०ः४०मा २ र राति १२ः४५ मा ६ खेल हुने छ ।

पहिलो दिन नै युरोपाका दुई ठूला क्लब म्यान्चेस्टर युनाइटेड र पिएसजी पनि भिड्दै छन् । खेल राति १२ः४५ बजे पिएसजीको मैदानमा हुने छ । यो सिजनको ग्रुप अफ डेथ अर्थात् समूह एचमा रहेका दुवै टिम विजयी सुरुवात गर्ने दाउमा हुने छन् ।

अघिल्लो सिजन फाइलनसम्म पुगेको पिएसजी घरेलु मैदानमा नेमार, किलियन एम्बाप्पे, केलर नाभास, एन्जेल डि मारियाको साथले बलियो देखिएको छ । उसलाई सन् २०१८मा अन्तिम १६ मा प्राप्त हारको बदला लिने अवसर पनि छ।

यता, पाउल पोग्बा, ब्रुनो फार्नान्डेस, मार्कस रास्फोर्ड लगायतको साथ पाएको म्यान्चेस्टर युनाइटेड पनि बलियो नै देखिएको छ । तर, प्रियिमर लिगमा उसको प्रदर्शनले भने उसलाई केही चिन्ता थपेको छ । ४ खेलमा २ हारको समना गरेको युनइटेड फर्ममा फर्कन प्रयास गरिरहेको छ ।

युनाइटडका लागि इडिन्सन काभानीको आगमन भने सुखद रहेको छ। पिएसजीकै पूर्व खेलाडी काभानी यसैसिजन मात्र युनाइटेडमा फ्रि टान्सफरमा आबद्ध भएका हुन्। सम्भवतः काभानीले आफ्नै पूर्वक्लबविरुद्ध इंग्लिस टिममा डेब्यू गर्ने छन्। गत सिजनको अन्त्यसँगै काभनीले पिएसजी छाडेका थिए।

यसैगरी आजै हुने अन्य खेलमा चेल्सीले सेभियाको सामाना गर्ने छ भने बार्सिलोनाले हंगेरीको क्लब एफटिसीको सामाना गर्ने छ । यतै, इटालियान क्लब युभेन्ट्सले युक्रेनी क्लब डाइनामो किभको सामान गर्ने छ। युभेन्ट्स क्रिस्टियो रोनाल्डोविना मैदान उत्रिने छ।

यस्तै आजै बोरुसिया डर्टमन्ड र लाजियो, जेनिट र क्लब ब्रुग, आरबी लेइपजिग र इस्तानबुल, रेनेस र क्रास्नोडार भिड्ने छन् ।
